Adiyae 2023: Release date, trailer, plot, cast, technical crew, OTT partner and more

Director Vignesh Karthick's upcoming film, Adiyae, brings together GV Prakash and Gouri Kishan for the first time together onscreen. The romantic drama is all set to hit screens on August 25.

Vignesh Karthik's third outing
The director, who had earlier made the films, Yenda Thalaiyila Yenna Vekkala (2018) and Thittam Irandu (2021), is back with the comical love story Adiyae, which has a touch of science fiction and alternating realities.

The quirky trailer
Going by the trailer, it looks like GV Prakash navigates alternate realities, where he wakes up in an unique world, where unpredictability is the norm. Here its snowing in Chennai and Vijay's shelved project Yohan: Chapter 1 is a super hit and is running to packed theatres in Indian cities of Chennai, Mumbai, 'Karachi and Peshawar'. Captain Vijayakant is the Indian Prime Minister as well and Venkat Prabhu talks in the voice of Gautham Menon.

The plot revolves around how the actor balances the multiverses. The trailer has already become a huge hit among the audiences. Gouri Kishan plays GV Prakash's love interest.

The film's title is take n from the song 'Adiye' from the G V Prakash Kumar's film Bachelor. The actor was last seen in Ayngaran, which failed to set the cash registers ringing. Hence, expectations are high from Adiyae.

The star cast includes G V Prakash Kumar, Venkat Prabhu, Gouri G Kishan, Madumkesh and Mirchi Vijay. Music for the film is by Justin Prabhakaran, cinematography is by Gokul Benoy and editing is by Muthayan U. The stunts are choreographed by Rambo Vimal and the art direction is handled by Siva Sankaran.

An August 2023 Release
The film, bankrolled by Prabha Premkumar's Maali & Manvi Movie Makers, is gearing up to hit screens on August 25. An official announcement on the OTT partner is yet to be made.
