Sanjana Sanghi shared good news about Dhak Dhak's sequel on social media. The announcement comes only a few days after Dhak Dhak released on Netflix.
Two months after its theatrical release, Dhak Dhak recently premiered on Netflix. Directed by Tarun Dudeja, the film earned critical acclaim upon its release in cinemas. While the film was helmed by Tarun, the screenplay of Dhak Dhak was written by Parijat Joshi and Anvita Dutt. Eleven days after the film premiered on Netflix, it has been revealed that Dhak Dhak's sequel will be made.
Sanjana Sanghi confirms Dhak Dhak's sequel
Sanjana Sanghi played the role of Manjari in the film, which hit the big screen on October 13, 2023. While sharing personality traits of her character Manjari, Sanjana confirmed Dhak Dhak's sequel through her Instagram post. A part of her IG post read, "SPECIAL NEWS The DhakDhakSequel My darling Manjari, she has a curious heart, eyes brimming with hope, and love for the world. She doesn’t mistake liberation as rebellion (sic)."
The actress further mentioned that her character Manjari revels in her innocence with a belief that the world is equally so. Sanjana feels Manjari is content in her protected world in Mathura, however, she is eager to experience the world. Besides that, Sanghi believes Manjari is the best friend everyone wants in their life.

Directed by Tarun Dudeja, the film revolved around the lives of four women, who set out for a road trip to the highest motorable pass in the world. While Sanjana essayed the role of Manjari, Dia Mirza was seen as Uzma. On the other hand, Fatima played the role of Shashi Kumar Yadav, and Ratna Pathak Shah was seen as Manpreet Kaur Sethi.
