Earlier, reports claimed that the film would go on floors in January 2025. But its schedule has reportedly been delayed due to Farhan's acting schedule. Additionally, the departure of Vikrant Massey as the antagonist also delayed the schedule. Now, a report shared new updates on Vikrant as a villain in Don 3, while revealing that after Dhurandhar's blockbuster success, Ranveer is all set for Don 3, and he has already begun his preparation.
Ranveer Singh's Don 3 preparation begins
News18 reported that after some scheduling conflicts and logistical hiccups, Don 3 is back on track. Ranveer Singh is all set to be seen doing some heavy-duty action sequences, and he has already started prepping for the same last week. Meanwhile, Ranveer was recently seen jetting off for a Christmas vacation with his wife, Deepika Padukone.
“Ranveer is fresh off the success of Dhurandhar. Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, dished out a big hit like Tere Ishq Mein. Don 3 serves as the perfect next-step for this duo. Some portions of the film in its first schedule will be shot in Jeddah. Kriti, much like Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Roma, will be seen engaging in some action sequences as well," added the source.
Vikrant Massey returns as villain in Don 3?
Earlier, reports had suggested that Tamil actor Arjun Das of Kaithi and Vikram fame had joined Don 3 as an antagonist after Vikrant Massey's exit. But the above-mentioned portal reported that the makers of Don 3 are still interested in Vikrant fixing a schedule with Ranveer in the film.
“They’ve resumed conversations with Vikrant. The actor, too, is interested. They’re currently in the process of figuring out his dates. Meanwhile, the script is still going through minute changes, keeping Vikrant in mind," the source stated.
Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan to join Don 3?
India Today earlier reported that both Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are considering the Don 3 offer. Although no official confirmation has been made. If it materialises, it will be the first time that the trio, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh, will share screen space.
