Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 could be the latest to be affected owing to the recent Pahalgham attacks in Jammu & Kashmir. Right after the attacks, netizens took to social media to demand a ban on Fawad Khan's upcoming project, Abir Gulaal. The movie, co-starring Vaani Kapoor, was not welcomed by all, and things got worse after the attacks. Now, it appears that Sardaar Ji 3 could be the latest target due to Pakistani actress Hania Aamir's involvement in the project. Here's everything we know so far...
Hania Aamir out of Sardaar Ji 3?
Hania Aamir fans were taken by surprise when Diljit Dosanjh said her name during his musical tour in London. This is where the rumours of her being the second lead in Sardaar Ji 3 began. Now, there's speculation that Hania might be out of the project post-Pahalgham attacks. The makers might remove Hania’s portions from the movie and reshoot it with a new actor.
This is also the time when Fawad's Bollywood comeback film Abir Gulaal's future remains uncertain. It is to be noted that while a few are in favour of the decision to ban Pakistani artists, others are of the strong belief that talent should not suffer because of terrorism, and that actors from across borders should be allowed to collaborate with Indian artists if deserving enough.
Pakistani artists face ban again?
The Pahalgham terror attacks witnessed 26 casualties. This has led to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) taking a stand against the release of movies that promote Pakistani actors. Thus, the ban on Abir Gulaal and the probable decision for Sardaar Ji 3. However, the makers have not sent an official confirmation on the matter.
