Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who was recently seen in Amaran, has some interesting projects in his pipeline including Madharasi and Parasakthi. It is also speculated that that the Ethir Neechal actor will be collaborating with filmmaker Venkat Prabhu.

In 2024 Tamil film GOAT- Greatest of All Time, starring Vijay, actor Sivakarthikeyan made a cameo appearance towards the climax. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, it is notably the first collaboration of Chennai 600028 director with Sivakarthikeyan.

As per reports, the actor and director will join hands for a new film. It is touted that the script will be based on a time travel subject, with AGS Entertainment backing the film on a big budget. However, an official announcement has not yet been made by the concerned parties. The project is intriguing given Sivakarthikeyan did sci-fi film Ayalaan while Venkat Prabhu’s time loop film Maanaadu did wonders at the box office.

Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for Parasakthi with Sudha Kongara. The film was initially announced with actor Suriya. However, Suriya backed out. Parasakthi now features Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan and Atharvaa, with Sreeleela marking her Tamil debut. With GV Prakash scoring the music and Dawn Pictures producing the film, a release date for Parasakthi is yet to be announced by the makers.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan’s next release is Madharasi in which he will be teaming up with Thuppaki director AR Murugadoss. It will hit theatres on September 5. The upcoming project is bankrolled by the production banner Sri Lakshmi Movies. Expected to be an action thriller, it will have Kannada actor Rukmini Vasanth play the female lead, who was recently seen in Ace. Others part of the cast include Vidyut Jammwal, Lal Salaam actor Vik ranth, Biju Menon, and Shabeer Kallarakkal among others. Madhrasi will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will be shot by Sudeep Elamon and Sreekar Prasad will be handling the edits.
