Even as Superstar Rajinikanth is waiting for the release of his latest movie Jailer, he has started to prepare for his next movie, which has been temporarily titled Thalaivar 170 . The 72-year-old superstar met the popular celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim on Thursday. The buzz is that he worked with Aalim to decide on his look for the upcoming movie, which will be helmed by TJ Gnanavel.
"Had an incredibly inspiring day at work with our one & only @rajinikanth .. Our association is more than a decade now and every time i spend time with him I get to learn so much from his legendary presence," captioned Aalim Hakim sharing a picture of himself with the Superstar.
It's said that the look test for Thalaivar 170 happened on Thursday. Now, that Rajinikanth has finished his commitments to Jailer, he seems to be waiting no time and immediately started to prepare for his next.
Rajinikanth had been shooting for multiple projects back-to-back. Soon after he completed shooting for Jailer, he joined the sets of Lal Salaam. Helmed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, he has played an extended cameo named Moideen Bhai in the movie, which stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles.
After wrapping up his portions for Lal Salaam , Rajinikanth took a small break and went to the Maldives for a few days. he returned just in time to attend the audio release function of Jailer. The star-spangled event was a big hit, thanks to Rajinikanth's lengthy speech. The event will be broadcast on Sun TV on Sunday at 6 PM.
And now, he has joined the pre-production of Thalaivar 170. The buzz is that Telugu star Nani has also been roped in to play an extended cameo in the movie. Speculations are rife that the filmmakers have already hired legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan to play a key role in the movie. However, an official confirmation on the casting is still awaited.
