When Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma clashed in Antim: The Final Truth last year, they made a formidable team. In stark contrast to that, they will soon be seen as brothers in the upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Although there has been no official confirmation, buzz in the industry has suggested to The Times of India that Aayush will play one of the three brothers in the film. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which Khan will now produce, has been delayed.

Zaheer Iqbal, who was introduced by Khan in Notebook, will also appear in the film. The newcomer is expected to play the third brother in the film. Although when Sajid Nadiadwala was producing this film, they considered other actors for the roles of the brothers, such as Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade, those discussions were never finalised.

Previously, there was a grand plan for Khan to jump onto the helipad from a helicopter, but that plan has been put on hold for the time being. This is due to the fact that the relevant set for this shot has been demolished and a new set is being built in Panvel, closer to the superstar's farmhouse.

Now that Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will be produced by Khan rather than Nadiadwala, there is widespread speculation in the film industry that the Dabangg star may also direct or co-direct the film with Farhad Samji.

According to sources close to Khan, he is planning to direct a film soon. The source earlier told Bollywood Hungama that without the superstar's approval, not a single frame was used in the final product. Khan has been putting off editing every single frame of his films for a long time.

Bringing attention to the cancelled project, Inshallah, a source close to the project claims that Khan's direct-the-director policy caused a schism with Bhansali. Rather than ghost-directing, Salman is now said to be seriously considering directing Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
