After Mahesh Babu, SS Rajamouli raves about Mem Famous: 'Highly recommend it to everyone'

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli on Monday expressed his admiration for the latest Telugu movie Mem Famous and praised the performances of the cast, including actor-director Sumanth Prabhas. Rajamouli took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the movie.

"After a long time thoroughly enjoyed a film in the theatre. Watch out for this guy Sumanth. He has a bright future both as an actor and director. All the characters were nicely etched and actors performed naturally. Especially Anji mama. Highly recommend it to everyone. Youth ni encourage cheyyale. Dham dham cheyyoddhu. #MemFamous," tweeted Rajamouli.

Rajamouli's tweet comes days after Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu heaped praises on the movie . In a tweet, Mahesh shared his thoughts on the film, calling it "brilliant" and expressing his astonishment at the performances of each and every actor involved. He specifically highlighted the talent of Sumanth, who not only directed the film but also played the lead role in it. 

Mem Famous opened in cinemas last week to mixed reviews. Judging from the trailer, Mem Famous is an endearing buddy comedy. The story revolves around a protagonist who gains unexpected notoriety for his carefree and unemployed lifestyle. Despite facing constant ridicule and humiliation from the villagers, the hero chooses to embrace a life filled with happiness and lives it to the fullest. The film promises an uplifting story. 

Mem Famous is also putting up a decent performance at the box office. 

On the career front, SS Rajamouli is now busy with the pre-production work of his next movie. Billed as a "globe-trotting adventure", the movie will star Mahesh Babu in the lead. The movie will go on the floors soon after Mahesh completes shooting for his movie with director Trivikram Srinivas.
