After Mysuru, Challenging Star Darshan and team Kranti to head to Hosapete to release song #2

Kranti's theatrical release might be far off but the promotions have begun well in advance. Spearheaded by Darshan himself, who recently shared that he will allot his time and thoughts to every media outlet possible, the team of Kranti has opted for a rather unique approach to spreading the word about their film. One of the first endeavours in this regard is the launch of the theme song Dharani which took place amid a massive crowd in Mysuru, earlier today on December 10.

In a lengthy media interaction prior to the release of the song, Darshan and Co. spoke of their desire to make the actor's many million fans (or celebrities, as he refers to them) actively involved in the promotional activities. In fact, the Challenging Star would personally pick a fan from the crowd and invite them over to the main stage to launch the song: "Instead of having other celebrities be part of the launch, I want a fan to release the song because the film is made for them. I'm sure many wonder why I'm doing it this way all of a sudden but if you remember, the song from Kurukshetra too was launched by a fan," says Darshan. 

But this won't be the end of the involvement of the fans. In the same media interaction, the actor revealed that the second single from Kranti top shall be launched as part of a huge fans-led celebration on the 18th of December in the heritage city of Hosapete. The other key details of the upcoming song will be shared at the earliest. 

The Kranti team plans on making this a pattern and is likely to cover many regions of Karnataka in the coming days as part of these promotions. With Darshan sharing a slightly strained relationship with the mainstream media following his scathing comments in the past, one could say that the makers are compelled to choose different means to promote their film but considering the lead actor's incredible popularity, fans are always expected to show up in incredible numbers.

The song launch event saw the film's lead actress Rachita Ram, producers Shylaja Nag & B. Suresha, and director V. Harikrishna in attendance along with a few other cast members. Banaras actor Zaid Khan too attended the event.
