After OG's success, Pawan Kalyan announces his next with Surender Reddy: Genre, shoot update, and other details

The biggie will be directed by Surender Reddy, who last made Akhil Akkineni’s Agent. Though Agent ended as a disaster at the box office, Pawan Kalyan has believed in Surender Reddy and given him this major project. 

Surender Reddy was earlier supposed to direct Pawan Kalyan, but things did not materialize, and many felt that the director had lost a golden opportunity due to the failure of Agent. However, Pawan Kalyan has kept his word and set the ball rolling for this big-budget film, which will be made on a massive scale.

Noted writer Vakkantam Vamsi has penned the story, and reports suggest that he has written a solid social action drama for Pawan Kalyan. Both Surender Reddy and Vakkantam Vamsi are well-known writers and directors, but are currently going through a lull in their careers. Pawan Kalyan’s faith in them has become a major talking point.

Pawan Kalyan delivered the biggest hit of his career with OG, directed by Sujeeth. He has also completed the shooting of his new film Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar.
