With this, the only film with a southern connect that Deepika is part of is the upcoming biggie, Atlee and Allu Arjun's film, which is made on a grand scale.

Reports said that Deepika’s demands were a little too much to take in by Spirit makers, while some sided with the actor in rightfully demanding her needs, given she is a new mother and has attained a star position.

But with the recent announcement that Deepika Padukone is out from the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD, and the makers stressing that the film ‘deserves that commitment and much more’ and they could not continue the ‘partnership’ with the actor, social media has once again started the blame game.
