After playing Rani Ma, will Ditipriya Roy get back on a Zee Bangla serial?

Ditipriya Roy was supposed to play an adult Rupa in the serial Anurager Chowa. The look set was done. Fans were eager to see her as the daughter of Swastika and Dibyajyoti. However, she withdrew herself from the serial at the last moment. Now, she is all set to step back on TV with a new serial of SVF on Zee Bangla.  

The serial will have Rahul Mazumder, a known face on Star Jalsha. He played leads in several serials like Debi Choudhurani, Bhagyalakkhi, Khukumoni Home Delivery, and Haragouri Pice Hotel. Now he will set foot on Zee Bangla.  

Rahul and Ditipriya have not commented about the new show yet. But industry sources said that their look set was done. The actress told Hindustan Times Bangla, "I will definitely work on television if I get a character I like. But it is not possible for me to say anything yet about returning to Zee Bangla."

Rahul left Haragouri after the story took a leap of time. He was then on paternal leave for some time. He became a father in August. Sources say that Rahul will be seen in a different look. His close ones were stunned to see him in the lookset.

Which slot will the serial take? Parineeta and Mirttir Bari faced trouble getting slots. Initially, Parineeta got Jagaddhatri's slot. But Jagaddhatri's producer Snehasish Chakraborty clearly told the channel that he could end the serial but would not change the slot. Hence, the decision was reversed in a few hours and Parineeta got the slot of Neem Phuler Modhu. But Monday's TRP report, where Neem Phul was the topper, again created confusion.
