If the buzz on social media is to go by, Kannada star Shivarajkumar is likely to be part of Dhanush's next with Arun Matheswaran, Captain Miller. The team is currently filming in Tenkasi for a big schedule. Speculations are rife that the actor will soon join the set of Captain Miller, which is a periodic action drama set in the 1930s. The title announcement poster revealed Dhanush riding on a bike with his face covered with a mask. He is also sporting long hair for his look in the film. An official confirmation of Shivarajkumar being part of the film is yet to be made.

Captain Miller stars Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken, and Elango Kumaravel. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for the film, while the cinematography is handled by Shreyaas Krishna. The film's puja video with some pumping music by GV Prakash, turned out to be one of the most watched videos on social media and Dhanush rocked in an ethnic avatar. Though the team is currently canning the portions in a forest region in Tenkasi, they will be shooting in other parts of the state too. It is said that Dhanush will be seen in multiple getups in the film.

Shivrajkumar will also be seen in Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The action entertainer will mark his debut in Tamil film industry. However, the details about his role are yet to be announced. The shoot is going in full swing in Chennai and pictures of the Superstar have been surfacing from time to time on social media. The title announcement poster showed a dilapidated factory backdrop with a blook-soaked meat cleaver dangling from a chain. The star cast comprises Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan to name a few. Music is by Anirudh Ravichander.
