Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-Emraan Hashmi’s Tiger 3 is out in theatres in Japan. Soon after, the makers of Prabhas’ Salaar announced that they would release their film in the country too. The movie has been dubbed in Japanese and will be up for release soon.
Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3 has released in Japan. Salman Khan had made the announcement with a video and more recently, YRF confirmed the same by sharing the poster with the Japanese title. “Step into a world of breathtaking action! Watch #Tiger3 (with Japanese Subtitles) now in cinemas across Japan. #YRFInternational,” they shared on Twitter.
Now, the makers of Salaar have unveiled a Japanese poster to confirm that the film will be out in Japan too. The poster features Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Salaar will release in Japan on July 5, in the dubbed Japanese version.
Prabhas’ Salaar clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki in Indian theatres. While released in theatres on December 21, Salaar was out just a day later, on December 22. The clash became one of the most-spoken-about in 2023 and while it was reported that the two movies might avoid the clash, they still happened to release at once. Both the movies were acclaimed and performed fairly well at the Box Office. Dunki marked Munna Bhai MBBS, 3 Idiots and PK director Rajkumar Hirani’s comeback into Bollywood and also starred Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
The YRF Spy Universe film Tiger 3 has released without a clash both in India and in Japan. The Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-Emraan Hashmi starring film is out on OTT, on Amazon Prime Video. The film performed better on the web than in theatres and the response from Japanese theatres will be known only after some time. Salaar worked both in theatres and on OTT. The film’s Hindi version can be streamed on Disney+Hotstar.
