Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia to star opposite Tiger Shroff in action-packed project | Details inside

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia recently made her Punjabi debut with the film Shaunki Sardar. She has garnered widespread acclaim for her performance in Shaunki Sardar, co-starring Guru Randhawa. Now, as per a report, she is gearing up to star opposite Tiger Shroff in an upcoming action project.

As per media reports, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is all set to star opposite Tiger Shroff in an action-packed project. According to a source close to the development, “After the success of Shaunki Sardar, Nimrit has been flooded with opportunities. This particular project stood out, and the team felt she would bring a new kind of chemistry opposite Tiger."

The source also mentioned that Nimrit is thrilled and extremely thankful for this phase of her career. "Tiger and Nimrit are a fresh pair and that’s one of the biggest attractions of this Project. It’s an exciting combination of mass appeal and freshness," the source added.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia's work front

She primarily works in Hindi television and made her acting debut in Choti Sarrdaarni. She is also known for her participation in the reality shows Bigg Boss 16 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Nimrit also featured in B Praak’s music video Masstaani, which brought her fame.

In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Nimrit shared how Shaunki Sardar is different from any other Punjabi film. She said that most of the Punjabi films get bifurcated in terms of genre, but her film has the right amount of flavour in terms of family drama, a lot of emotion. 

"There is romance too. There's a lot of suspense. There is revenge. There's action. So in that sense, I feel like it's a thorough entertainer. And the way it's been made is also very different from how you would see a typical, you know, like preconceived notion that you have to have for a Punjabi film. It's a different take and a very different viewpoint that you get to see," she said. 

Tiger Shroff's work front

Tiger Shroff made his acting debut with Heropanti in 2014. After this, he did several films,s such as Baaghi (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018), and War (2019). He appeared in big-budget action films such as Heropanti 2 (2021), Ganapath (2023), and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024). 

The actor is currently gearing up for the release of Baaghi 4. Directed by A. Harsha, the film is set to hit theaters on September 5, 2025. Sanjay Dutt is also slated to play the antagonist. The first look of the film hints at a tighter narrative, hinting at a complex and character-driven storytelling.
