After Suriya and Aamir Khan, Lokesh Kanagaraj takes his Irumbu Kai Mayavi script to Allu Arjun: Reports

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who last directed Coolie starring Rajinikanth, is yet to announce his next film officially. However, there have been talks already that the filmmaker is eyeing to direct his dream project next, the superhero script called Irumbu Kai Mayavi. The latest buzz suggests that Lokesh Kanagaraj will be pairing up with Allu Arjun.

Lokesh Kanagaraj to work with Allu Arjun?

Lokesh Kanagaraj, who faced a lot of flak after the release of his latest film Coolie, is expected to join hands with actor Allu Arjun. This project is expected to be Irumbu Kai Mayavi, a superhero film which has been Lokesh’s dream project for a while.

It is to be noted that Lokesh was supposed to do this film with Suriya first, and then was fixed with Aamir Khan. However, it looks like the Aamir Khan collaboration has slipped from the hands of Lokesh Kanagaraj, after Coolie had failed with Aamir Khan’s guest appearance failing to create any impact.

Lokesh Kanagaraj and Allu Arjun’s collaboration is yet to get any formal announcement, but if it is on cards, it will be the first time they will be working together. Allu Arjun is currently working with Atlee for a mega budget feature, which has Deepika Padukone as one of the leads.

With Lokesh yet to announce his next directorial, the filmmaker will be making his debut as actor with DC, directed by Arun Matheswaran and co-starring Wamiqa Gabbi.
