Siddhu Jonnalagadda had a miserable 2025, as two of his big films, Jack and Telusu Kada, bombed at the box office and disappointed his fans. The DJ Tillu actor is yet to come out of his Tillu character, and whatever he does apart from this is failing big time.

Siddhu has kept a low profile for the last few weeks and is now working on his new film, Badass, which is currently busy with its shoot.
We at OTTplay have come to know that he has signed yet another comedy with a young director. One of the sources close to the actor revealed to us that Siddhu has okayed a script narrated by Swaroop RSJ, who made the hit film Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya with Naveen Polishetty.
The source goes on to add that Siddhu was blown away by the narration given by Swaroop and okayed the film right away. The film will be backed by the makers of DJ Tillu, Sir, and Kingdom and will go on floors in the second half of 2026, once Siddhu wraps up two of his pending films.
Swaroop made his directorial debut with Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya and impressed one and all with his crime comedy. The news is that he has penned yet another crime comedy that will showcase Siddhu in a completely new avatar.
After the debacle of Telusu Kada, Siddhu is not in a hurry to sign films. For most of his films, Siddhu pens his own stories, but as he loved the script narrated by Swaroop, he has agreed to do a film under his direction.
Siddhu’s performance in Telusu Kada was appreciated big time, but the film flopped. With two back-to-back flops, his career is at stake, and he needs to make a comeback at any cost. That is the reason he has signed this crime comedy, which will be made on a tight budget.
