After The Kerala Story, Adah Sharma announces her new Telugu film C.D

Adah Sharma, who starred in one of the biggest hits in Hindi this year - The Kerala Story - is returning to Telugu cinema with a psychological horror thriller titled C.D (Criminal Or Devil). The female-centric film is directed by Krishna Annam and is bankrolled by SSCM Productions. A Muddu Krishna has the written the story and dialogues for the project.

The first look poster of the thriller was unveiled today. A bunch of creepy hands are emerging out of a photo frame while Adah Sharma, donning a red attire with a key chain attached to her necklace, gives a strange expression. The poster hints at an eerie thriller with intriguing twists and turns. The filming of C.D was wrapped up recently and the post-production formalities are nearing completion.

Viswant is cast as the male lead in the film also starring Rohini (Jabardasth), Bharani Shankar, Ramana Bhargav, and Mahesh Vitta. Satish Mutyala cranks the camera for the film and RR Dhruvan is the composer. Satya Giduturi is the editor and Rama Krishna is the action director. Giridhar is the executive producer. The release date of C.D will be announced shortly.

The makers are leaving no stone unturned to plan a grand promotional campaign for C.D. Adah also made her Telugu OTT debut with the web show recently - Meet Cute - directed by actor Nani’s sister Deepthi Ghanta. Cast as an actress in the series, the actress starred in an episode opposite Shiva Kandukuri. The show, that released to positive reviews upon release, is streaming on Sony LIV.

The Kerala Story actress was launched in Telugu cinema with Puri Jagannadh’s Heart Attack. Some of her other appearances in the industry include S/O Satyamurthy, Subramanyam for Sale, Kshanam and Kalki, to name a few. Before C.D, Adah Sharma acted in the first part of the horror thriller franchise 1920, which was a commercial success in Telugu too.
