Serials are abruptly ending in Tollywood. Zee Bangla ended a record number of serials in June. Star Jalsha also ended a lot of serials. Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha abruptly ended with the entry of Shubho Bibaho. Bhaktir Sagar was ended just after it started its journey. Zee Bangla ended four serials last month.
Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche, Astami, Jogmaya, and Alor Kole were ended. Serials are getting axed as soon as they give poor TRPs. Now, it was Colors Bangla that axed a serial. The popular show Ram Krishnaa, which was once the channel topper, will end its journey of one year and four months.
Nilankur Mukherjee and Nandini Dutta play the lead in Ram Krishnaa. Ram and Krishnaa faced many obstacles in their lives, but they will bid farewell with smiling faces. The serial attracted viewers but is not getting a good response nowadays. Hence the decision of ending the serial.
Ramananda and Krishnaa are poles apart and face many hurdles to become life partners. Krishnaa comes from an upper middle-class family. Ram's mother could not accept Krishnaa's relationship with her son. They at last became together, winning all the hurdles. Nilankur, with teary eyes, said that Ram would always be with him.
Nilankur wrote on social media, “Today I’ll be playing RAM for the last time. A part of you will be there with me always, Ram. You have given me so much. I faced ups and downs with you. When the days Nilankur was upset Ram was there to cheer him up and when Ram was upset and humiliated in the story Nilankur felt every emotion so deeply that he cried without glycerine to be precise.”
He further wrote, “Thank you for holding me up Ram when I was too ill to even stand properly. Nilankur has given it all here and so has Ram. So wrapping up as RAM today. I’ll miss you.”
