“Agar body banaani hai... toh Covid aur Dengue hona bahut zaroori hai”, says Salman Khan

The most eagerly awaited trailer launch of the Salman Khan starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ took place today at a star studded event in Mumbai. The star-studded event was attended by Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde Bhumika Chawla, Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill, Vinali Bhatnagar, Bhumika Chawla, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Jagapathi Bapu, Vijender Singh and also the film’s director Farhad Samji, Shariq Patel (CBO-Zee Studios) and also singers Sukhbir, Palak Mucchal and Payal Dev.

When the host asked Salman Khan about the film, a calm and composed Salman Khan replied, “I just hope that it pays off. That’s it. People appreciate the film, like the film. They will go and see it again. Ours is a typical 'Hindustani' film. Basically you can take one action film and add a dash of and Sooraj Barjatya’s film like 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun types, romance like Sanjay Leela Bhansali (film)... its today’s film. Their films do not have action and violence as much as we have in our film (smiles).”

After this, the host went onto compliment Salman Khan on his physique. The host said, ‘I have to say that you are looking in the best shape that we have seen you in a very long time Sir. We all go to the gym, but nothing of this sort (Salman Khan’s physique) ever takes place. There’s a lot of effort that goes into it and we have to appreciate it. To which, Salman Khan said, ‘Ismein efforts tha Dengue aur Covid kaa. Agar body banaani hai, toh Covid aur Dengue hona bahut zaroori hai climax ke pehle”.

While ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is a Salman Khan Film production, the film has been directed by Farhad Samji. Besides Salman Khan who plays the leading man in the film, there is also Pooja Hegde (who plays the female lead), Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar amongst others. The film has been scheduled to be released on April 21 this year. The film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ will have a Zee Studios worldwide release.
