Agent: Akhil Akkineni and director Surender Reddy commence new schedule at Vizag port

Akhil Akkineni, who tasted his first commercial success as a lead actor with Most Eligible Bachelor, is looking forward to continuing his victorious momentum with his next film, Agent. A spy thriller in the making, the film is written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Surender Reddy. Sakshi Vaidya is making her acting debut with the project that also features Malayalam star Mammootty in a significant role. Ramabrahmam Sunkara is producing the film under AK Entertainments in collaboration with Surender Reddy's Surender 2 Cinema.

The team behind the stylish thriller today has commenced a new shooting schedule at Vizag port. Akhil Akkineni, Surender Reddy and other actors will film a series of intense action blocks in this schedule. As soon as Akhil Akkineni entered the city, he received a warm, grand welcome at Vizag Port from his fans, who also conducted a huge rally. Vizag is said to be one of the strength zones for the Akkineni family in terms of their fan following and this gesture doesn't exactly come as a surprise.

Agent promises to be a feast for action junkies and Akhil has undergone a massive physical makeover for the role. A new of poster of Akhil from the film was unveiled, commemorating his birthday recently and received good responses online. After Nani's Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Hip Hop Tamizha is returning to Telugu cinema with Agent. Rasool Ellore cranks the camera for the film whose technical crew also comprises editor Navin Nooli and art director Avinash Kolla. 

Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy are the co-producers with Stuns Shiva handling action choreography. Kishore Garikipati is the executive producer.
