Agent OTT release: A complete new copy is getting ready for the digital release

Akhil Akkineni pinned a lot of hope on his film Agent and gave two years of his life. But sadly, Agent flopped big time at the box office. The film made peanuts and the makers ended up in massive losses. Upon this, producer Anil Sunkara openly revealed that he did a blunder by not going to shoot with a bounded script.

If this was not enough, the OTT release of the film which was supposed to happen on the 19th of this month was also stalled. Now, the latest update is that producer Anil Sunkara has asked director Surender Reddy to re-edit the film and also add a few deleted scenes to give the film a proper digital release.

The film was made on a budget of 80 crores and went over budget as well. Surender Reddy the director has gone into hiding and has not spoken a word which has upset the fans even more. Malayalam star Mammootty also played a key role in the film.

On the other hand, Akhil was supposed to do a film in the production of UV Creations but that film has also been stalled as per the news. There is a decent buzz for the OTT release of Agent and we need to see what kind of response will the film get once it is out digitally.
