Filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, starring Ram Charan and NTR Jr is now on OTT and one person who caught all the action is Agents of Shield actor Patton Oswalt. The comedian-actor, it would seem, was blown away by the visuals in the film and tweeted, “You guys are out of your fucking minds, you should not be allowed to make films, and I can’t wait to see what you do next.”

A thank you note from the film’s official handle came almost immediately. Patton, of course, was being appreciate of the phenomenon that is RRR, and netizens back home jumped at this opportunity and decided to school him on all things Rajamouli. Most of the responses to Patton’s tweet were suggestions of other SSR films to watch, like the Baahubali series, Magadheera and Eega, among others.

There were some, though, who didn’t quite comprehend what he meant when he said that ‘you should not be allowed to make films’ and took offence. Thankfully, it did not blow up into an unnecessary controversy, as other netizens quickly decided to clear the air.

RRR was Rajamouli’s first film in five years, which comes after the epic Baahubali 2. The film, which has Ram Charan and Junior NTR in the lead, released in theatres in March this year. A fictional story of two Indian revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem and their fight against the British rule. The film, produced by DVV Entertainment, has music by MM Keeravanni. Made at an estimated Rs 500 crore, RRR raked in well over twice that amount at the box office. After a highly successful box office stint, the film then headed to OTT, where it is currently available to stream in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. Lead actors Ram and NTR Jr had dubbed for themselves for the Kannada version of the film.

The Hindi version of the film is now available on Netflix, while the others are on Zee5
