Ahana Kumra visits Kolkata, meets Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury at the set of Dear Ma

Bollywood actress Ahana Kumra came to Kolkata and visited the Technician's Studio. However, she made no public announcement of her visit. Some of her photos surfaced after she left Kolkata. In one of them, she rode a yellow cab. In another, she was giving a puja in Kalighat. In some other photo, she was seen in the studio with actor Chandan Roy Sanyal who is acting in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's film Dear Maa.

Chandan is in the city for the film's shooting. Is Ahana also acting in the film? She told Anandabazar Online, “Tonyda (Aniruddha) and Chandanda are my friends. Can't I come to meet them? Do I have to come only for work?”

Ahana also said that she likes Kolkata and comes here whenever she gets a chance. Her brother-in-law is a Bengali from Kolkata. She went to Kalighat, gave a puja, and bought conches. She had lunch with Aniruddha, Chandan, and others. The menu had rice, dal, boiled potato with bitter gourd, rohu fish, and Sandesh.

Ahana said, “I worked in the film Juddho, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. Amitabh Bachchan was in the film. He used to talk a lot about Kolkata – the roads, yellow cabs, rain, the food. I missed the rain since I went there the day before yesterday. I tried the rest.” Big B told her to go to Kolkata whenever she felt sad. The city can heal the melancholy with its charm.

Ahana, who worked in films like Lipstick Under My Burkha, The Accidental Prime Minister, and Salaam Venky, was asked whether she would like to work in any Bengali film. Ahana said she was waiting to get an offer and wished to work in a film directed by Aparna Sen.

Amitabh married a girl from Kolkata. Will Ahana also marry some Kolkata boy? Ahana laughed and said that she did not have any such plan presently.
