The team of Aha's original release, Rathasaatchi dropped a hot update about the film today. The makers announced that the teaser of the film will be out on November 28. They also shared a new poster where one gets to see a bunch of people walking around in a burning forest carrying weapons. We also see two important characters looking at each other amid the chaos. The makers captioned the picture, "The path to Freedom is sown with seeds of Revolution #RathasaatchiTeaser to be released on Nov 28th #RevoltBegins #RathasaatchionAha (sic)."

The first-look poster, too, had the lead character riding an elephant even as forest burns in his background. The poster had won a lot of appreciation from people.
Rathasaatchi is an adaptation of a short story Kathaigal from the novel Venkadal, which is penned by writer B Jeyamohan. The title Rathasaatchi roughly translates to Blood Witness. The title announcement video, which was released on Kamal Haasan's birthday (November 7) gives us a sneak peek of a gun, handcuff and torch along with Karl Marx's Capital. Towards the end, we see the title in Kamal Haasan's own handwriting.

The first single from the film, Yaanaiyum Modhum, was recently launched by Varisu composer Thaman. Taking to his social media handle, Thaman wrote, "Happy to launch this god bless the whole team. Listen to the Echoes of Revolution #RathasaatchiFirstSingle #RevoltBegins Best Wishes to #RathasaatchionAha #Jeyamohan @RafiqIsmail80 #AnithaMahendran @ahatamil @magizhmandram @turmericmediaTM @Javeddriaz @thinkmusicindia #YaanaiyoduModhum (sic)."

The team has been dropping one sneak peek after another and going by the same, the plot is likely to revolve around unsung heroes like Lenin Raghuvanshi, Charu Majumder, Medha Patkar, Rajendra Singh, Lakshmi Agarwal, Sunitha Krishnan, Appu. The film has been bankrolled by Anitha Mahendran and S Disney.

A press release by Aha and Turmeric Media stated that a great deal of time and effort has been spent on crafting the screenplay that would enhance Jeyamohan's original story.
