Sharing it on his Instagram Story, he wrote, "Hate seeing you like this, but just a few more days and you'll be back home with us. Chin up champ @amaal_mallik, we love you so much."

During a recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Riteish Deshmukh came and announced the eviction of one contestant and finalised the Top 6. He asked the contestants who would leave. Although Amal thought Malti would be the one to be evicted, Salman then asked Ritesh to reveal the name, and he announced Shehbaz Badesha's eviction. His eviction made Amaal emotional as they became best friends.
