As the film gears up for its OTT release, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has clocked a new record as per the latest update from the tracking portal Sacnilk. Stunningly, the film has crossed the closing collections of Junior NTR’s Devara and Salaar. 

As per the news, both Devara and Salaar made close to ₹220 crore share, and now MSG is expected to cross this collection by the end of this weekend. With this, the film is all set to enter the top five biggest hits of Telugu cinema in the fourth week of its release.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is also nearing the $5 million mark in the US, as per M9 News. Every party associated with the film has seen solid profits as the movie heads toward its OTT release. 

It is also playing in a record number of screens across the Telugu states. Fans are upset that, despite the film playing so well in theatres, the makers have opted for an early OTT release. MSG is set to arrive on OTT exactly within a month of its theatrical release.

ZEE5 has bagged the digital rights, and the makers have landed a deal that allows them to earn extra money by releasing the film early on OTT. As the deal is locked, there is no chance of the film being postponed. Anil Ravipudi’s films are known to be smash hits on OTT, and his last film, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, still trends on OTT. 

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is also expected to clock solid views on streaming platforms. Nayanthara played the female lead in the film, which had music by Bheems Ceciroleo, with Venkatesh appearing in a cameo.
