About Squid Game 3

Fans, who have already watched Squid Game Season 2, must have noticed that the makers have teased a season 3.

In an interview with Variety, Hwang Dong-hyuk shared, “Gi-hun has lost everything, including his best friend, and all of his attempts have failed. Now, the question is, what kind of person will he be? What will his state be like? What will he choose to do? Will he continue his mission? Will he give up or persist? Gi-hun will be at a critical crossroads when Season 3 begins. He won’t be the same man he was in Season 2.”

Gong-yoo (Goblin: The Lonely and Great God), who played the role of the salesman, took a headshot in season 2, which broke fans' hearts as he was one of the most-loved characters in the series. Soon after season 2 was released, several fans were convinced that Gong-yoo is returning for the upcoming season, as in Squid Game season 2 episode 2, at 3.10 minutes, Gong Yoo was seen opening his eyes for a brief moment after he took a headshot. This could be a creative mistake, but it could also signal a comeback.
