Telugu superstar Ram Charan was overjoyed by the thought of him playing a Marvel character in a movie directed by SS Rajamouli. He was so thrilled by that idea that he promised the interviewer who put that idea in his head to throw a big party should that ever come to pass.

Charan was asked whether he nurtures a desire of being part of any Hollywood blockbusters franchises, including Marvel. He said, "I want to be part of every franchise that people are buying a ticket for. I wanna be part of every film in every country, where, people appreciate art and films. Cinema is becoming a global cinema. It's no more Hollywood and Bollywood. It's burning all the 'woods' and becoming a global cinema. I'm so fortunate to be part of that."

Charan seemed beyond excited when suggested so much could be achieved with Rajamouli directing a Marvel movie with him in it. "I think we are gonna host you a big party if that happens. I think she is one of the first people to say that. Fingers crossed. I really hope that happens. At least for my director," he said.

The last few weeks, Charan was busy running the Oscar campaign. He appeared on several popular entertainment channels in the US and talked about his Oscar-nominated movie RRR. Written and directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR is a big hit with the American movie-going audience. The film has found unprecedented popularity in the West, especially with some of the powerful members of Hollywood. The film's smash hit 'Naatu Naatu' has been nominated in the best original song category.

Charan will attend the Oscars along with his co-star Jr NTR, Rajamouli and the film's composer MM Keeravani.
