Ahead of Skanda's release, Ram Pothineni reveals his wish to act in Virat Kohli's biopic

Skanda is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema as it marks the collaboration of hero Ram Pothineni and mass director Boyapati Sreenu for the first time ever. The combination has awaited for years now and it has finally come true and the expectations are massive.

Skanda is an action drama and will be released on September 28, 2023. Ram has started the promotions on an aggressive note and is giving back-to-back interviews. Speaking in an interview, he spoke about legendary cricketer Virat Kohli and said that if a biopic is made on him, he is ready to act in it. 

Ram adds that he has been following Virat for the longest time and loves his aggression on the field. Ram will be seen in a very aggressive role in Skanda and says he can relate to Virat's attitude on the field as he had to perform more or less the same in Skanda.

Ram is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema but is looking for that one big hit. That is the reason why, post the failure of Red, he has teamed up with Boyapati Sreenu who is a master at showcasing his heroes in a massiest manner. 

Thaman has scored the music for this film and the songs that have been released so far have become good hits with the listeners. The pre-release event of the film will be held in the next few days as per the news.

Sreeleela is cast as the female lead in this film and her chemistry with hero Ram looks crackling on screen. This is the first time she has been cast opposite Ram in Skanda and says that it was very hard to match the speed of Ram's moves. Sreeleela is also a solid dancer and she finds it tough to dance with Ram is itself a big compliment for the star hero.
