Amid the saving of the world, and some superheroes flying high up in space, there exists a film that is bringing a prequel to a very loved franchise to the big screen after a very long time. The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes releases this week, and the movie has managed to create quite a buzz with a cast that is also in the news for various news. But as we gear up to watch the prequel, the prep needs to be in point, and for that, we need to watch the previous films. Here’s a guide.

Where Can You Watch The Last 4 Films?

The four movies include The Hunger Games (2012), The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (2015). In India, all four movies are available on Amazon Prime Video with the Prime membership. The first three are even available in multiple regional subtitles. They are also available on YouTube for rent.

What Is The Hunger Games?

For beginners, The Hunger Games is a franchise set in the future that is more fantasy and is also connected to the present. The idea of the games is simple. A plush capital thinks they own the world, and every world outside its borders is divided into districts. Every year, Hunger Games are held in the Capital, where tributes from each district are pushed into an arena and are told to fight each other. The last one surviving is the winner.

The prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes takes us back in time when the game was at risk of dissolving and a love story bloomed right in the center of it only to meet a tragic end. But the prequel comes after four movies that have already traced the world of the franchise.
