Story:

Trained under Anakin, Ahsoka sets off on a journey to bring Ezra Bridger back. She is doing so for her apprentice, Sabine Wren.

Review:

"Once a rebel, always a rebel." This would sum up what episodes 3 and 4 make you feel. The revels gather to fight one another and almost beat the other. But, have they?

Ahsoka and Sabine's training is where you will be gripped. They are the soul of the show. Natasha Liu Bordizzo is still way more impressive as Sabine in comparison to Ahsoka, played by Rosario Dawson.

Part 3, Time To Fly, starts banking heavily on the Star Wars theme (music as well as visuals). The episode focuses on Ahsoka being there for Sabine, who steals the limelight once again from our lead character.

Our adorable droid Huyang makes for the perfect pally even this time around. He is someone you can rely on, even while he doesn’t function. That is the kind of character graph he has through the episodes.

Part Four, Fallen Jedi, shifts the focus to General Thawrne. His apprentice is back and with that, the Sith vs Jedi battle with lightsabers make a comeback. Finally, in this episode, Ahsoka gets to show what she's really made of.

The master vs master and apprentice vs apprentice battle is worth your while. It is a visual spectacle but also a delight for everyone who loves action. Do not expect a lot of surprises though.

Diana Lee Inosanto as Lady Morgan Elsbeth is back and her impression from the previous episodes stay. While you do not get to see her witchcraft this time around, it doesn’t stop her from being any less evil.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla is in a bigger role this time around. More than that, you get to see her as a person rather than only a professional this time around.

Ivanna Sakhno is back in the role of the psycho Sith assassin, Shin Hati. She doesn’t create fear like the last episodes but is just enough for the scenes that require her presence.

The visuals are a big focus for the series. Of course, with that, there's a dramatic end as well.

There's a surprise this season. No, it is not only limited to The Mandalorian but Anakin Skywalker is back!

Verdict:

The Steph Green and Peter Ramsey directed episodes take the story forward but not at the pace that you would expect it to. Sabine is still the highlight of the show but this time, Ahsoka takes back what was stolen from her in the last episodes – the limelight she deserves, since the show is on her name. Do watch these episodes.
