It's customary to spoil your loved ones on their birthdays. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, his wife and an actor didn't miss the opportunity to show Abhishek Bachchan some "birthday love" on Sunday as he turned 47.

Aishwarya posted a smiling photo of Abhishek on Instagram along with the caption, "Birthday love. Today and forever, baby." She embellished her caption with loving emoticons.

At Mani Ratnam's Guru filming locations, Abhishek and Aishwarya fell in love. Before getting married in 2007, they were in a long-term relationship.

Abhishek revealed to ANI last year how Aishwarya had taught him how to handle unfavourable feedback. The actor had said that she told him that one gets 10,000 positive comments, but one negative one affects them. To feel the beauty of a positive environment, one needs to focus on being positive. As a result, he is constantly striving to see things in a positive light.

Abhishek said that, with Aishwarya's advice in mind, he makes an effort to learn something from the negative comments. The Guru actor went on to say that the only thing that counts is how one handles failure thereafter. Failures and criticism don't have an adverse effect on him since he views them as opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Abhishek always strives to learn from his mistakes.

Not only are Abhishek and Aishwarya the most sought-after Bollywood couple, but they are also active parents to their daughter, Aaradhya. On November 16, 2011, the two welcomed Aaradhya into the world.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek will next be seen in R. Balki's Ghoomer, which also features Saiyami Kher as the female lead. The release date has yet to be announced. Aishwarya, on the other hand, will be reprising her role as Nandini and Mandakini Devi in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2. The historic drama is hitting the big screens on April 28, 2023.
