What did Aishwarya say about Dhanush?

Aishwarya, who last directed Lal Salaam, also directed 3 which marked Anirudh’s debut as composer. The director also said how it was Dhanush who spotted the talent and how the actor has the ability to recognise the skills and bring it to the forefront.

When Aishwarya was asked about the phenomenal growth Anirudh has had over the years in his career, Aishwarya said to Cinema Viketan, "I am very happy but honestly I have no connection or contribution in how he came into the industry. Even though he is my cousin, it was Dhanush who saw the potential and talent Anirudh had. His entry into cinema is fully because of Dhanush. Anirudh was supposed to have flown to Singapore to pursue studies, but it was Dhanush who spoke to his parents and took full responsibility of Anirudh's career and gave him an opportunity in 3. I am happy for what he has become now.”

Aishwarya talks about misses of Lal Salaam

Lal Salaam, starring Rajinikanth in an extended cameo role, opened to mixed reviews. Speaking about it, Aishwarya revealed how the team met with a challenge when they lost footage of 21 days of shoot and they had to reshoot some portions. Calling it an unfortunate incidence, Aishwarya said they had to compromise on the quality and manage with what they had. The team had lost footage involving a cricket match scene, but could not be reshot due to budget and logistical issues. Lal Salaam, produced by Lyca Productions, starred Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal in the lead roles.
