Aishwarya Sakhuja makes an exit from Ankit Gupta’s Junooniyatt, pens a beautiful adieu note

Aishwarya Sakhuja has made her exit from Ankit Gupta’s show, Junooniyatt. The actress had filled in as a cameo appearance on the show. She played the role of Dr. Pari, who was responsible for treating Ankit’s character, Jahaan.

Aishwarya was introduced to the show when Jahaan was racing with Jordan (played by Gautam Singh Vig). After an accident, Jahaan lost his voice. Dr. Pari was responsible for curing him.

Sharing some photos with Ankit and in her role, Aishwarya bid adieu to the show. The actress was just happy to do the show for producer Ravi Dubey. For the uninitiated, Ravi and Aishwarya had collaborated for Saas Bina Sasural, where they played husband and wife.

Junooniyatt is being shot in Chandigarh. Ankit and Gautam are shooting for the show there and Aishwarya had joined them for the brief period.

Ravi is producing the project with his wife Sargun Mehta. Her Punjabi film Sidhus of Southall is now in theatres. It is the first time where she leads the film on her shoulders alone. The actress is otherwise often known for romantic and comedy movies with renowned Punjabi actors like Ammy Virk and Diljit Dosanjh.

Meanwhile, Ankit and Gautam bagged Junooniyatt while they had just come out of Salman Khan’s reality show, Bigg Boss 16. They were contestants on the show who weren’t constantly on good terms with one another but were a part of the same group. While Ankit was linked to his Udaariyaan co-star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Gautam had confessed his love for Soundarya Sharma on the show.

Commenced in February, Junooniyatt has been welcomed with a warm response. It continues to compete with Karan Kundrra’s Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, which also released around the time.
