Malayalam actor Joju George, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Valathu Vasathe Kallan, has announced his next. Titled Aja Sundari, the film will also feature Lijomol Jose, who was recently seen in the thriller movie Baby Girl. The next film of actors Joju George and Lijomol Jose - Aja Sundari was announced on January 25. The upcoming film will be directed by editor-turned-filmmaker Manu Antony. While making the announcement, the makers revealed the first-look poster of Aja Sundari which features Joju George in a common man avatar with a goat peeping out of the cover in his hand. He is seated on what appears to be a KSRTC bus. Though a release date was not announced, the makers said ‘coming soon’ in the caption, which had also hashtags such as ‘#SundariyeKanmanilla’ and ‘#MissingGoat’, hinting that the movie could revolve around the goat.

Joju George and Lijomol Jose will play the lead roles in Aja Sundari. But the rest of cast details were not revealed. Director Manu Antony has handled the editing, has also penned the script with Geethartha AR credited as co-writer and additional screenplay by Saneth Radhakrishnan. Notably, Aja Sundari will have director-cinematographer Aashiq Abu as the DOP and he has also backed the film.
Drumyuga serves as the music director, while Midhun Challissery is the art director.
Earlier in October 2025, Manu Antony had announced his directorial debut with Soubin Shahir and Lijomol Jose. However, the title announcement on Sunday did not include Soubin’s name though much of the other crew are same as the earlier project. It is not known whether that project was dropped, and whether Soubin is still part of Aja Sundari.
On the other hand, Joju George will be seen next in Drishyam 3 director Jeethu Joseph's Valathu Vasathe Kallan, which will hit theatres on January 30. Lijomol's latest release was Baby Girl, starring Sarvam Maya actor Nivin Pauly.
