Ajay Devgn-Rakul Preet Singh’s De De Pyaar De 2 gets new update – here’s when the film will go on floors

It has just been a few days since Rakul Preet Singh is married and now we learn about her upcoming Bollywood film, De De Pyaar De 2. The actress was the leading lady in the movie featuring Ajay Devgn. She will commence shooting for the movie this year and we have details about when will the sequel go on floors.

When will De De Pyaar De 2 go on floors?

Max to max, De De Pyaar De 2 will go on floors in June this year, according to Pinkvilla. The film could also start shooting in May end. This is keeping in mind Ajay Devgn’s packed schedule. The actor will be wrapping up Singham Again by the end of May. That will be followed by Raid 2. The actor is switching between both the movies and hopes to complete them around the same period of time. He would then switch from action to comedy.

On De De Pyaar De 2

A source describes De De Pyaar De 2 as a ‘romantic comedy with urban sensibilities.’ It is about Ayesha Khurana’s (Rakul Preet Singh’s) family trying to accept her relationship with 50-year-old Ashish (Ajay Devgn). The sequel is directed not by Akiv Ali of the original film but by debut filmmaker Anshul Sharma. Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain have penned the story and the makers hope to bring something crazier to the table.

Ajay Devgn’s love with franchise film

After the success of Singham and Singham 2, Rohit and Ajay had decided to go ahead with the third installment and call it Singham Again. It comes from the universe which already has ‘Simmba’ Ranveer Singh and ‘Sooryavanshi’ Akshay Kumar, but it gets crazier. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone join this movie and the climax scene will also see Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff.

Apart from Singham Again, Ajay is a part of the Golmaal franchise. He is also a part of Dhamaal 4 and Son of Sardaar 2 aside of De De Pyaar De 2.
