Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, Ajay Devgn's OTT debut, is set to be released on March 4, 2022, and the actor is very excited about it. According to him, the series, which is an Indian adaptation of the popular British series Luther, depicts a different type of action and will undoubtedly be a treat for his fans.

As per ANI, Devgn spoke up, stating that he doubts Rudra: The Edge of Darkness will be on par with Luther. It could be even better, the actor claimed. When it comes to action, this show depicts a very different type of action. Devgn shared that it provides the audience with more drama, suspense, and thrills, making it very interesting. He is hoping it's even better than the original.

Devgn continued, saying that his job is to amuse people. It makes no difference what platform one uses. He absolutely adores the big screen. Now, he watches a lot of OTT in his spare time and enjoys it. It has multiplied significantly since the pandemic, Devgn added, so it makes no difference whether one is watching it on OTT or on the big screen. They both have so many new things to discover! Furthermore, he had a great time with the entire Rudra team. It was a pleasure to collaborate with them.

Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is a race-against-the-clock thriller set in Mumbai that delves into the minds of highly intelligent criminals and the detective who hunts them. Even as the overarching series arc continues, each episode in the series features a new threat, depicting the grave personal cost at which DCP Rudra Veer Singh (Ajay Devgn) pursues criminals and killers and the unlikely friendship that he forms with Aliyah (Raashii Khanna), a genius sociopath. In the series, Mumbai is more than just a backdrop for our hero's vigilante actions; it serves as the stage for the battle between good and evil.

Rudra, which also stars Esha Deol and Raashi Khanna, will be available in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali on Disney+ Hotstar.
