Ajith's much-awaited Vidaa Muyarchi with Magizh Thirumeni to finally go on floors on THIS date

The official title of the project Vidaa Muyarchi was announced on May 1, on Ajith's birthday. Fans of the star have been eagerly awaiting another update for a few months, but the makers are busy with pre-production. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the film which has music by Anirudh.

The film marks Ajith's first collaboration with director Magizh Thirumeni and Lyca Productions while it is his third outing with musician Anirudh. Cinephiles have been anticipating an official update amid various speculations doing the rounds.

Vidaa Muyarchi to go on floors on THIS date

According to a source, the much-awaited movie is set to begin its shooting on October 2. It is heard that the project will go on floors in Azerbaijan. A schedule is said to happen in Abu Dhabi as well. A couple of pictures of Ajith meeting Mohanlal and Sanjay Dutt went viral recently.

The latter will be seen essaying the antagonist in the project. The makers are yet to reveal the details of the other cast and crew. If everything goes as per plans, Vidaa Muyarchi might hit the screens as a summer release in 2024.

Unconfirmed reports on the female lead

The names of Trisha and Huma Qureshi have been doing the rounds with regard to playing the female lead in the project. This will be Trisha's fifth movie with Ajith after Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha and Yennai Arindhaal if the news turns out to be true.

Huma was seen along with the star in Valimai which was released last year. Billed as an action drama, the story of the film remains a suspense.
