Speculations are rife that Ajith is all set to team up with Adhik Ravichandran for his next. The film, which is tentatively being referred to as AK 63, is bankrolled by Elred Kumar through the RS Infotainment banner.
Ajith paid a whopping salary?
Meanwhile, there is a strong buzz that Ajith is being paid a whopping Rs 175 crore for the film, which is said to be one of the highest in his career. Adhik, we hear, has narrated a script to the Vidaa Muyarchi actor. However, there is no official announcement on the project.

It is to be noted that the Mark Antony director is a diehard fan of Ajith and had even dedicated the success of his blockbuster film, Mark Antony to the actor. The director, who had earlier helmed films like Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan and Bagheera, has been desperately looking for a hit.
When he met his matinee idol Ajith on the sets of Nerkonda Paarvai, the actor motivated him to such a great extent that he began working on Mark Antony with renewed interest. The film, which stars Vishal and SJ Suryah in the lead, went on to become a massive hit and gave Adhik the much-needed break. The director then thanked Ajith for boosting his morale.

In the meantime, Ajith is currently in Azerbaijan shooting for his next with director Magizh Thirumeni. The film's star cast is said to comprise Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Regina Cassandra, Arav to name a few. While music for the film is by Aniruch Ravichander, cinematography is by Nirav Shah and editing is by NB Srikanth. The film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
Now all eyes are on his next project and an official statement above the film is awaited.
