AK 64: Adhik Ravichandran confirms reuniting with Ajith Kumar; says will be very different from Good Bad Ugly

Ajith Kumar who was seen in two films already this year, Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly, has taken a break from acting to concentrate on his passion for racing. The actor and driver, is taking part in international races along with his team at present and said he would be missing from action in acting. But it looks like his fans need not wait for long for his next film update, as filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran recently confirmed that the duo will be teaming up again after Good Bad Ugly.
AK 64 confirmed!
When Good Bad Ugly released earlier this year, it was loaded with many Ajith Kumar references. But there was also a clue about Ajith’s next film AK 64. Now it looks like the actor’s next film will be helmed by Good Bad Ugly director Adhik Ravichandran in his second collaboration.
While interacting with media recently, director Adhik Ravichandran confirmed that he is indeed teaming up again with Ajith and that will be his next film. "Yes, I joining with sir again. I am very happy that I got another opportunity to collaborate with him," he said. When asked what kind of a film it will be, Adhik said that it will be different from Good Bad Ugly but refrained from revealing anything else. Adhik mentioned that it will be appropriate when the producers make it official when asked if GV Prakash who scored for Good Bad Ugly, will join the project again.
As per social media buzz, AK 64 is expected to be set against the backdrop of Thoothukudi and will be out and out commercial movie.

Good Bad Ugly is streaming on Netflix. Starring Trisha, Arjun Das, Prasanna and others, the film is a gangster action drama and is loaded with many Ajith Kumar references. The film opened in theatres earlier this year and is the highest grosser so far this year in Tamil cinema.
