Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta name their second child Veda, DETAILS INSIDE

The wait is finally over! The most popular celebrity couple in India, Akash Ambani, and Shloka Mehta, have revealed the name of their second child. Akash Ambani, the elder son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and his wife Shloka Mehta Ambani named their daughter Veda on Friday. The couple announced the news through a press statement.

The statement read, “With the grace of Lord Krishna and the blessings of Dhirubhai and Kokilaben Ambani, Prithvi is thrilled to announce the birth of his little baby sister — Veda Akash Ambani.”

The happy couple are now blessed to be parents of two adorable kids. While Akash and Shloka had their first child, Prithvi, in December 2020, the second child was welcomed on May 31 this year.

Interestingly, Shloka Mehta announced her second pregnancy during the spectacular inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in April this year. At the event, she was seen flaunting her baby bump.

This inauguration ceremony was attended by several high-profile celebrities including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Salman Khan, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Deepika Padukone to name a few.

It was in the year 2019 when Akash Ambani (now 31) and Shloka Mehta (now 32) decided to make their relationship official and tie the knot. Since then, their relationship is growing stronger and merrier on a daily basis.

It is believed that the couple studied together at the school run by the Ambani family. Shloka Mehta is the daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta.

Talking about business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, he and his wife Nita Ambani are parents to three children - twins Akash and Isha, and younger son Anant. All are now religiously working in a reputed oil-to-telecom-to-retail conglomerate, Reliance Industries Limited.
