Akash Vaani: First look of aha Tamil's first OTT project, starring Kavin, unveiled

As promised, the makers of Akash Vaani, which stars Kavin and Reba Monica John in the lead roles, have unveiled the first look poster for the awaited web series. The series will be the first OTT project of the newly formed streaming platform aha Tamil, which exclusively showcases Tamil content.

The first look poster was unveiled by Kollywood star Arya on his official Twitter handle. The poster features a smiling Kavin and Reba riding a motorbike, with Reba’s arms outstretched. Underneath them, written in bold, are the words "romantic reunion". In the caption of the post, he congratulated the whole team behind the web series and wished them the best. The first look poster was widely shared, including by Kavin, aha Tamil, Reba, and Darshan.

The upcoming series is touted to be a hilarious as well as heartwarming romantic comedy revolving around the story of a couple, Akash and Vaani. The project went on floors in Chennai a few months ago.

The series is directed by Enoc Able, who has worked with popular filmmaker Atlee, and produced under the banner of Kaustubha Mediaworks.

Meanwhile, Kavin is perhaps best known for his stint as a contestant on the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil in 2019. The actor has also been a part of the series Saravanan Meenatchi and starred in films such as Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019) and Lift (2021). The latter, which also featured Amritha Aiyer, premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Kavin is also awaiting the release of Oor Kuruvi, directed by Arun.

Reba, popular for her films such as Jacobinte Swargarajyam (2016) and Bigil (2019), will next be seen in the film FIR, which stars Vishnu Vishal.
