The arena is set to buzz again after the successful first season of the series titled Akhada. Last time, Karan was left fighting for his life after being shot. Now, he's making a comeback, defying death. The first season, which was released on the Stage app in 2022, became a huge hit with millions of views on the streaming platform. Now it is returning with Season 2, which is titled Akhada Phir Se is releasing on the Stage app this February.
The Haryanvi sports-action web series, Akhada Phir Se, is releasing on Stage app, on February 25, 2025. OTTplay Premium subscribers will also be able to watch both Season 1 and Season 2 easily. The interesting part is that for the first time ever, a Haryanvi web series will be released in three languages - Haryanvi, Rajasthani, and Bhojpuri. Season 2 explores power, politics, loyalty, and survival. Akhada Phir Se promises to clear all the cliffhangers from Season 1.
In Season 1, a young Kushti (wrestler) player, named Karan, who belongs from a poor family, gets caught up in the arena's politics, putting his dreams and family in danger. Now, in Season 2, viewers will find out whether Karan is alive or dead. The most curious questions such as will Karan take revenge for his family? Can he wrestle again? And will his and Meghna's love prevail? - everything will be answered in Akhada Phir Se.
Akhada Phir Se picks up from where the first season was left. Karan survives the shot because the gun explodes in the attacker's hand. In Season 2, he meets an auto driver, named Krishna, who saves his life. Viewers will see Karan, his mother, and Krishna start living together like a family. He wants revenge for his family, but he also hopes to revive wrestling in the village.
As Karan chases his enemy, Aakhon, he also must face off with him in the Akhada (wrestling arena). Meanwhile, Poonam Karan’s lover, is now a sub-inspector, and meets a new police officer, who wants to marry her. Karan tells Poonam to move on and marry someone else.
The story gets more complicated with the introduction of a suspicious ASI, who seems to cheat the police. Season 2 also promises new characters that will keep you engaged, and the story explores interesting relationships, including a leader's bond with a poor family.
