Akhanda 2 Hindi box office Day 3: Balakrishna's film is a disaster, makes shocking low numbers

Akhanda 2 is Nandamuri Balakrishna's new film that has taken a solid start at the box office, as it has amassed Rs 77 crore worldwide, as per the tracking portal Sacnilk.
Akhanda 2's Hindi collection details
Balakrishna promoted the film aggressively, but sadly, it was postponed at the last minute due to financial issues. The star hero is so upset with the makers that he did not even invite them to the success celebrations, and this has become a talking point all over. In his speech, Balakrishna did not even mention the makers.
The Akhanda star promoted the film aggressively in Bollywood and generated decent hype. However, that did not reflect in the collections, as Akhanda 2 has made only Rs 42 lakhs in its first three days in Hindi, as per Sacnilk.
These are dismal collections and give an idea of how badly the film flopped in the Hindi market. Looking at the way the film is faring, Akhanda 2 might not even make Rs 1 crore in its full Hindi run.
Boyapati Sreenu directed Akhanda 2, marking his fourth collaboration with Balakrishna. As the film was made on a massive budget of Rs 150 crore, it needs at least Rs 120 crore to be in the safe zone, which looks unlikely at the moment.
The makers have also not planned any post-release promotions to keep the film in the news.Netflix has bagged the digital rights to the film and will stream the action drama in the second week of January 2026.
All eyes are now on Balakrishna's next
Next in line for Balakrishna is a period drama, the shooting of which will kick-start once the Sankranthi 2026 festival is over in January. Gopichand Malineni is directing the film on a massive scale.
