Akhanda 2: Much awaited teaser of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film to drop very soon

After the massive success of Telugu film Akhanda, actor Nandamuri Balakrishna will be starring in its sequel. The makers on Sunday dropped a massive announcement on social media and revealed that the teaser of Akhanda 2 will drop on Monday at 6.03pm.

Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna who is hailed as God of the Masses, will be teaming up once again with filmmaker Boyapati Sreenu for Akhanda 2: Thandavam. Touted to be a high-octane sequel, Akhanda 2 promises to be bigger in terms of budget and quality. The highly-anticipated film is being mounted on a grand scale under 14 Reels Plus banner, with producers Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta at the helm.
On Sunday, the makers announced that Akhanda 2’s first look and teaser will be unveiled on June 9, a day before Balakrishna’s birthday. A poster was released, featuring a trident with a bull, with cosmic compass in the background. The shooting for Akhanda 2 is ongoing, with Samyuktha playing the female lead. The film will also feature Aadhi Pinisetty. The technical crew includes S Thaman scoring the music, and cinematographer C Ramprasad. Editor Tammiraju is also part. Akhanda 2 is set for theatrical release on September 25 for Dussehra.
Balakrishna teams up with Gopichand Malineni
The makers of Balakrishna’s next announced that the actor’s 111th project will be directed by filmmaker Gopichand Malineni. It marks their second collaboration after Veera Simha Reddy.
The filmmaker, known for his commercial potboilers, will be doing a historical film. The project is currently in the final stages of pre-production. While the lead star and director have been officially confirmed, the rest of the cast and technical crew will be announced later.
