Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu are a deadly combination and have given only hits whenever they worked together. Their last film, Akhanda was a blockbuster hit at the box office and gave Balakrishna a new lease of life in his career and the film is the biggest hit in the director's career to date.
Post Akhanda, Boyapati Sreenu has directed Ram Pothineni in a film titled Skanda. It ended as a massive flop and was trolled for its silly action and over-the-top emotions. Well, to make a comeback, Boyapati Sreenu has teamed up with Balakrishna yet again for Akhanda 2.
The film has been in the news for a long time and was confirmed by the director a few days ago. We have now come to know that none other than Geetha Arts, the prestigious banner headed by Allu Aravind will be producing this film on a massive scale.
The script sessions have already begun in the Geeta Arts compound. The makers have kept this project a secret and will only announce when the script is locked. Going back in time, Boyapati Sreenu gave Allu Arjun his biggest hit in the form of Sarrainodu, which was also produced by Geetha Arts.
In the last few years, Allu Aravind has stopped producing big-budget films and has been focusing on low-budget films on his GA 2 Pictures banner. Now, he is all set to make a comeback with this biggie. The Balayya and Boyapati combo always gives a high to the fans and we need to see what they are up to this time around.
