Akhil, Mammootty's Agent two day disappointing worldwide collections are here

Agent is one film that Akhil had pinned a lot of hopes on. But sadly, the film opened to a very bad talk. Made on a budget of 80 crores, so much was riding on this film to deliver. But the film had dull reviews and is struggling at the box office. As per the latest update, the film has made only 8 crores worldwide in two days.

These are very disappointing collections and prove that word of mouth is everything. The promotions of the film were also started late by the makers and they did not get much time to take the film deep into the audience. The songs were also not that great and this was one reason for the film to flop.

Surender Reddy has directed this film which had Sakshi Vaidya in a female lead's role. Even she did not get proper screen time in the film. Mammootty's role was the only part which gave some solace to the audience. A hyperactive hacker becoming an RAW Agent is the story of the film.

So, what's next for Akhil is the big question. The social media is filled with trolls saying that the young star kid needs to select his scripts properly. The word is that Akhil will be teaming up with Dasara director Srikanth Odela for yet another action drama. But for now, Agent has disappointed big time.
