Akhil's Agent gets a new OTT release date: Here's what we know

Akhil Akkineni's new film, Agent has flopped big time at the box office. The film made peanuts and the makers ended up in massive losses. Upon this, producer Anil Sunkara openly revealed that he did a blunder by not going to shoot with a bounded script.

By doing this, he has started the blame game on Akhil and director Surender Reddy. Akhil on his behalf apologized to the fans that he will be extra careful with his next films. If this was not enough, the OTT release of the film which was supposed to happen on the 19th of this month was also stalled.

We at OTTplay had revealed yesterday that due to some contractual issues with Sony Liv, the film did not release. So, when is Agent going to have its OTT release?. Well, we have come to know from our sources that the action drama might be out on the 26th of this month.

The film was made on a budget of 80 crores and went over budget as well. Surender Reddy the director has gone into hiding and has not spoken a word which has upset the fans even more. Malayalam star Mammootty also played a key role in the film.
