Akhil's Agent with Surender Reddy goes over budget, here's what we know

Nagarjuna's son, Akhil has been in the industry for a long time now. But he found success only with Most Eligible Bachelor co-starring Pooja Hegde. High with the success, he has got a makeover and transformed into a beast for his new film Agent which has been directed by Surender Reddy. The film's shoot is yet to be wrapped up but the post-production has already started.

Now, we have come to know from our sources that the film has gone over budget and the makers are not happy with this. The makers have spent close to 70 crores on the film already which is pretty high for Akhil's market. It will be a herculean task to get that amount back and the film needs to get a blockbuster talk from day one to get that money back.

All this has happened only due to the delay in the production, says one of our sources. But the makers are pretty confident and feel that they will get the money back through the other digital and satellite rights of the film. Also, as the teaser has caught on well, the film will surely open big at the ticketing windows.

AK Entertainments have produced this film which also has Malayalam superstar Mammootty in a key role. The film has music by Hip Hop Thamiza and Saikshi Vaidya plays the female lead. In the days to come, the makers are all set to speed up the promotions and give the film a grand release on April 28th 2023.
